Bettering the breed

Golden Retrievers

We are small breeders located in the heart of beautiful Pennsylvania. We have American Reds and English Creams. Our dogs live in our home as part of the family. The puppies are whelped in our home so that they can get all the love and attention that they deserve. All of our dogs are DNA and OFA tested for eyes, heart, hips and elbows to minimize the chances of bad genetics being passed on.You can see how all of our babies are doing by checking out our Facebook page - Groves Goldens in Bellefonte, PA

This is our sweet Rosie. She is an English Cream and has a sweet temperment. She does like to let us know that she thinks she is smarter than us on occasion. Rosie has has 3 litters and is now retired.

Meet Miss Grace. Grace is a four year old Red American and on the smaller side like her Mama, which is our Lucy. She is a high energy girl, but likes to please us. She loves to play ball and pick up sticks. She is extremely smart and athletic. She has had three litters that have proven to be very much like her and we are expecting that future litters will be the same.

This is 3 year old Addie. Addie is a rescue from the Ukraine. When she came to us, she was very shy and afraid of many things. She is now an outgoing, fun-loving English Cream. She loves lots of snuggles and aims to please.
